"while Mr Wu believes in a monopolistic stance"

Well, this may be why a face to face was needed between the Premier and the Minister in order to allow QCOM access to the Chinese markets. If the Minister had his way, QCOM would have stayed out in the cold is how I read the need for that meeting.

I am not at all surprised to see heads rolling in this regard. This tells me that China is indeed opting for what South America still needs: the conviction that a competitive market is the healthiest market.

I have said QCOM is a very disruptive play politically speaking, and this may simply be another casualty of the enemy.
May his comrades take due notice.
