It seems to me Bob got it wrong both times

Your argument ignores the fact that Bob correctly targeted the range of CTR1. So, you had all the information you needed to execute a better trade and some people did.

If that trade bombed, it was because of a lack of trading ability. People just blindly went and entered stop loss orders without any clue. I don't think anyone trading this market should expect Bob to hold their hands all the time.

So you agree that "...neither short-term trade has worked well" as stated in the last paragraph of my post.

But as to your perception of why the trades did not work well, I see that as pure speculation. Nobody but Bob knows for sure what the thinking process is or was.
