i am more in Fleck's camp on this: these huge drops on bad news signify that the stocks are already largely in weak hands...otoh, the big funds had such a ridiculous overweight in tech, that they probably still sit on enormous amounts of stock.

imo there are only two possibilities: either a panic ensues that finally flushes all the sellers out, or we continue the grind until everybody loses interest...and then build a bottom over a long period of time, with numerous false starts.
