Interesting. Harmon is resigning later this year. Harmon and Micron hate each other. Harmon gets out of the picture....the two sides can finally talk to each other. They discover they have much in common...maybe even some of the same shareholders. Mutual respect arises.......a contract is worked out on a cocktail napkin at the "Lucky Lady" in Boise. Micron agrees to produce 60 million RDRAM units a month. Rambus agrees to forget past infringement issues, calling them: "just a misunderstanding among good friends". Rambus sends Micron a Christmas basket. etc., etc.

Well, I can dream, can't I?

<It will be the next DRAM standard.>

My question was:
Why do we need a new standard since it does not offer better performances ?
