Irwin Jacobs just announced at the GSM conference that he expects W-CDMA, the GSM version of 3G to be delay at least until late 2004. I am curious as to any timetable you might be aware of on the roll-out of 4G networks. Seems to me that this is most likely to begin commercial sales no sooner than 2008. Which isn't forever, but it certainly is a looong time out for the typical telecom SP or speculator to be considering. TIA for any comments.
