Paul,

I've always thought of the 89 Series as being a miracle. Think how many people would have died that day had it not been the one in a million shot of the A's vs. the Giants in the first game of the series, and nobody out on the Embarcadero or Bay Bridge.

I remember walking into a bar in Flagstaff a little late, and seeing hundreds of people on TV walking around on the field, and smoke in the background.
