that can't be distinguished from the real thing even by a gemologist.>> yes, familiar with them, one is mousinite (sic), however a knowledgable gemologist with the proper (expensive) equipment can now distinguish the difference - the consumer is the one at risk here. I saw the 60 minutes piece but I thought the process was too expensive to be profitable? Agree about Russia - they could really cause havoc and pull the strings of DeBeers.

Options: is there any way to distinguish whether an option trade is a sale or buy?
