Thanks for the article. I assume their streaming media solution must be something that delivers a full screen experience (ie, better than what Microsoft or Real Networks is providing). I wonder if it is totally software based, or whether they employ some kind of black box at the cable operator's facility?

Here's a company that is working on a hardware/software solution to deliver multimedia streams (video, 3D graphics, voice over IP, text, etc.). Their model calls for installing their hardware in data centers across the continent, through which the media streams will be routed. Now they are initially targeting the business collaboration and retail ecommerce markets but it could no doubt be expanded. They claim that their solution beats any software only solution by a wide margin.
