CB,

My daughter and her partner try to stay away from the colored gems (usually, only when their clients request them). Better margins in diamonds <G>

Check your PM's

Best,
Bill/WA

CB:

I have NEVER been able to understand the female desire for diamonds (my wife has probably not forgiven me yet, as I refused to buy her an engagement ring). Natural diamonds are actually far from rare in this world and synthetic diamonds are relatively easily manufactured for the last couple of decades. Industrial diamond users prefer the synthetics as they have been custom designed tomeet industrial cutting requirements.
I note the recent transaction involving the world's diamond monopoly,...... worries about the monopoly coming apart? There sure are lots of pressures that could blow the whole dumb thing sky high.

Best, Earlie
