Rick Sherlund was on CNBC a minute ago...he trimed estimates for 12 software stocks and talk about ORCL...

1. Orcl's customers are just "frozing" their IT spendings(they may have the budget but are deciding to sit and wait) starting a few weeks ago.
2. The problem could be short-lived such as during the gulf war..
3. If europe are going to be affected the same way in the next few months; then there can be a bigger/longer problem for the group.
