You vastly overestimate both Greenspan's ability to move the market at all and his intent. Bullcrap. The guy is the most influential person in the world re monetary matters. What else happened to the US economy starting late last year, if it wasn't the six rate hikes? AG thought he was tapping on the brakes, but he threw the Buick special into reverse at 70 MPH. Next time we need someone in there that can keep up with happenings daily, rather than waiting for his GD monthly reports written by quill pen on sheepskin.
