Zoltan, Maybe, if enough attention is brought to bear, something will, finally, get done to plug up these loop holes, and more definitely define the President's pardoning power. Regardless of political affiliation, the POTUS has too much power to act in a reckless manner.

If the Gestapo Repubs are going to review the pardon process, let's put Bush Sr.'s pardon of Casper the Friendly Ghost high on the list. Refresh my memory. Was he pardoned before the fact or after the fact?

And, whoa! Gerry Ford is still living. Let's haul his butt before Congress, too, and have him explain for the 126th time why he didn't give Tricky Dicky the opportunity to wear a striped shirt, either.
