Oh no! Please don't remind me of all the baseball cards and Superman comic books I kept in very good condition in the late 1950's and early 1960's that my mother threw away one sad day cleaning house! Could have sold them in the 1980's and retired. This caused me to become a pack rat later on in life, so now the house looks like Joe Franklin's office space with old stuff, records and video tapes all over the place! joefranklin.com After paying six figures+ to the government in our lifetime, yes, as an American, I think we have the right to be bailed out, or at least they should do everything humanly possible to ease investor's pain these days.
