You mentioned that Rodham got a contingency fee and that's not permitted by FL law. Later I realized what he got paid is not what I understand to be a contingency fee in a legal matter. A contingency fee, at least here in WA, is a fee to be paid contingent upon a lawsuit being won in favor of the client and a monetary settlement being awarded. The fee is usually a percentage of the monetary settlement.
