Hi Tom, I picked up EEE @ 1.93 yesterday in my unmarginable, unshortable retirement account. The company is still for sale, its recent asset sale pays down long-term debt, and clears difficult assets from its books thus making it attractive to a wider range of buyers. Even if it doesn't get sold, I think it will see $2.50-2.80 sometime in the next year (hopefully several times) because natural gas reserves are falling and demand will remain firm unless there's a really bad recession. Just-in-time energy supplies mean just-more-expensive energy supplies.

Also bought some MCD @ 29 and 28.80. MCD is trading at the low end of its historical PE trading range, is suffering from mad cow disease and unfavorable foreign currency translations. I believe that the mad cow issues will eventually clear and that FX rates are more likely to see the dollar fall against other currencies. I'm also a customer.
