Mission critical computer platform from I-Bus/Phoenix is maximum cool

I-Bus/Phoenix, the world's leading provider of high reliability computing solutions, launches the GP1013X Intel CompactPCI (cPCI) enclosure. This platform is ideally suited for OEM developers of mission critical systems supplying many industries including telecommunications, Internet service providers, broadcast and medical.

The GP1013X development platform is based on I-Bus/Phoenix's award winning G8 enclosure and incorporates its patented MaximumCool technology. This revolutionary feature ensures separate cooling areas for applications cards and system devices so that components operate efficiently in high ambient temperature environments. MaximumCool in the card/power area of the enclosure allows OEMs to design in today's highest speed multiprocessor SBCs, high density, high power intelligent I/O boards, and high speed RPM drives.

This integrated system has a flexible 13-slot H110 compliant backplane and fully supports rear I/O, dual N+1 hot-swap power supplies and is available with either an entry level Celeron or Pentium III Flip chip Intel processor. The single board computer also has on-board VGA and dual 10/100BaseT Ethernet ports ensuring maximum space is available for additional cards. Various drive bay configurations and a choice of operating systems are available to guarantee flexibility to meet system demands.

The depth of chassis, at only 11.64", is ideally suited for central office applications where stringent NEBS constraints are required. This highly flexible OEM platform can be quickly transformed from development to production units and is also supplied under I-Bus/Phoenix's priority shipment facility.
