Dave -- AMCC: Very possible. They sure brought a lot of volume to that stock in a hurry after it re-opened. I believe it only took a half-hour or an hour to put 20 million shares on the tape.

The techs look strong right here. Don't fight the SOX. My main problem with this is that I usually don't like to see mid-day rallies in a downtrending market. You get the big money going out to lunch, and some small fries pump up the market in their absence. It's better to see the big money moving the market up and the small fries trickling it down during the lunch doldrums. Another problem is that a few key names, such as CSCO and JNPR, have had size on the ask pretty consistently since the open. But that SOX is moving and speaking pretty loud right now!

Dave although we didn't hold overnight, we've been long pretty much yesterday at least late afternoon and today totally so we might have that capitulation. Some one said if we have the fortitude to ignore bad news we can rally. We always rally on ORCL bad news (check the history)..
