1. That was a bad assumption. You should never assume. 2 Where the hell do you think Alan Greenspan's check comes from.....the Russians?? 3. You needn't be a rocket scientist to know that everything gets tougher as colder weather approaches. Fuel mileage decreases, heating costs rise, lay offs, taxes, Idiots named Al Gore that are too stupid to know when they've been beaten, Our Beloved Friends at OPEC and their annual oil price increase.....all of which would normally keep things reasonably well in check. Problem w/ FOMC is they have many convinced they know whats going on, and in real time...maybe they do, however, when it becomes time to hypothesize toward the future....they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. The same crap, happens every year,with respect to the conditions previously outlined,and the economy slows somewhat.It has been happening every year(more severely in colder climates) but as far as foresite some cant find the forest for the trees. As far as the Federal Government is concerned( and those who have comprised it....well, it just may be possible that you haven't seen or heard any news for the last 8 years: the kind of news that equates to Slimeballs.
