jim_p. ACTM price movements remind me of another stock in a similar line of business, which I played around with in 4Q1999/1Q2000.
Then ARX now ARXX. It was beaten down due to missing by a penny. I traded it for a while @ sub $10 before it started showing some upside. Settled for a substantial position ~$12 while I was in Europe for a few month. It went to ~$20+ before falling over for a few days.
Only regret is that I did stop at that internet cafe along the road. Went for the exit at ~$20 with a very handy profit and my a/c was in real good shape and happy, but by the time I returned to Australia the stock was trading ~$70. Well that's hindsight and a lost $1M+ opportunity. Such is life.
ARX went from NYSE to NASDAQ and had a couple of splits (5:4 & 2:1 during 2000). I have not followed the stock for nearly a year, but being reminded I just had a look at it. Looks like it is again taking a hiding in line with the NAZDAQ market. Could be worth considering again. Last trade ~$13. 52-wk ~$8 - ~$38. What do you think - do you care to run ARXX thru your magic model ?
Have a nice week-end. Henrik
