"....Money needs to be spent responsibly by government(oxymoron) or returned to taxpayers." yeah, michael, tell that to the democrats. here in california it seems to be getting harder by the day. aside from the fed we have a greedy state that seems to believe there is no limit to how much they can tax you. I might be wrong here but I feel that in the coming years California's tax rate (not to speak of their "energy problems") is going to cause the state's high tech economy to "reconsider" staying here. IMHO the downside factors are quickly overtaking the upside factors. At some point the glorious weather we have here will not be a sufficient "advantage" in the mind of ceos'. regards

Mike, I wish you the best in turning your "minor" losses around. As for this market now being able to digest bad news for awhile because of this recent move up, well I'm not convinced. I think yesterday's market action with the AMCC warning response and the IBM rumor was enlightening. I was amazed how quickly the market moved up in reaction to the slightest indication that the tech-wreck may be leveling off. It looks like there's a mountain of money on the sidelines just itching to buy the bottom. Until those folks go all-in and subsequently get taken out, I don't think we can expect a sustained move up.
