"but what is this HSBC report?"

Dimethaid did a financing through HSBC last spring for $10 million of which HSBC took a healthly fee in excess of $800,000 if I remember correctly. Part of the deal was that they would issue an analyst report. They were waiting on some key milestones prior to issuing the report, so as not make themselves not look foolish if they were wrong.

I thought that the UK approval and the announcement of the distributor would have satisfied them, but apparently not.
What's the point of drafting a report, then letting it sit around for a year while the content becomes stale. Seems to me that they could have released one based on the information at the time, then update on an annual basis.

In any event, I'd say they haven't kept up their side of the bargain and I think it's save to say that this is the last Canadian brokerage that will be doing any financing for Dimethaid. That said, Rebecca has mentioned that HSBC has introduced them to a number of larger institutions in the U.S.
