Ted, <Are you basing your call of Clinton's lack of morality on the screaming heard from the media or on the facts.>
I base it on Clinton's own words and actions

Ten,

I hate beating a dead horse because I know you will see it the way you want to see it just as I will. However, what are those words and actions?

Everytime there is a brouhaha over Clinton, I go read the facts and there is hardly a correlation between the screaming in the press and the reality. Even the discussion on this thread re the pardons has not been about the pardons themselves but about allegations of fraud and who got the $$$ etc.

I believe that the Clintons knew that Rodham was pushing the pardons but I don't think they knew he was getting a personal contingency fee. Most partners get paid a salary based on their hourly wage and billable hours...and maybe a bonus at the end of the year. So how were the Clintons to know....I don't know how much my brother makes nor my sister make per year and I would not ask if they were getting a special fee for pushing a pardon. Yes, we are family but we don't discuss personal financial issues.

I often wonder about this latest controversy...I have not been political in the past but I know that other presidents have made questionable pardons....and yet I don't remember a storm of protest over those pardons.

I wonder if this thing with Lewinsky has made him appear the fool and to his enemies,as a consequence, very vulnerable.

Ten,

When we elect a President, we expect him to be willing to drop nuclear bombs on babies, without losing any sleep.

Do you also expect that person to be Mr. Rogers?
