Don:
“I wouldn’t say we’re seeing any kind of shortages,” said Jeff Mailloux, director of DRAM marketing at Micron technology Inc. in Boise

I surely would say so. Last price I saw was $37 for 128 MB of Micron PC133. The lowest I've seen it go for was $35.

As one would give bird seed to song birds, the price of similar amount of RDRAM was $182 so carl can chirp about something.

Okay, how does this sound for a configuration?

* P4 (probably a 1.3G, but we don't really care about the speed).
* 128M RDRAM
* 56K Modem
* 10G Hard drive (minimum)
* CD-ROM drive
* 17" monitor
* Video card (don't care about specs)
* Windows (some version)
* Don't care about any other bundled apps

Have I missed anything? If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

Dave
