Just human nature... there was a federal program there to put their hands in so what do you THINK they did... grab what they could for their states before someone beat them to it... infact it could be argued that NOT doing this would be a breach of feduciary responsiblilty to the states taxpayers as other states moved in.

What???

It's pretty obvious you don't understand what happened or why it happened...but that's OK...it's never stopped anyone from claiming they know something about social welfare programs...especially on this thread.

400 million dollar state budget shortfall?...Hmmm...You guys in AZ are gonna do real well...ROTFLMAO

<Security guards?

Yep, got 'em. Lot's of domestic help around here too... lot's that I know of get their kids that I know are getting put through community college as 'bonus'... with no charitable tax breaks in return. Turns out lots of rich people are "60's children" at heart.

Maybe they turn out to be not so rich so soon, eh?

If this is your answer to handling the problem I hope your friends have deep pockets.

Oh, and human nature never changes. It's the one constant we can count one. Witness the market.
