I called it a "Bush recession" because it's happening on his watch, that's all. Presidents tend to get credit or blame for what happens on their watch.

As for the tax thing, I wasn't prepared to deal with howls of moral outrage just because I pointed out that the tax rules are tilted towards business owners. They can legally take deductions on items such as a car that is leased by the business and offered to an employee or owner for business and personal use. Many business benefits are tax advantaged compared to wages. If you read the rules carefully there are ways to take advantage of them without committing tax fraud, ways that are not available to employees. That's all.
