Hi Shaw, I've noticed the same thing, I post this on the under $3.00 thread. Message 15440252 Hey Bob, What's up with the p.d's (palladium), suf, pfn, fwr, pdl... They're up & palladium is down 4+% . Interesting divergence Note that the volume has really picked up on some of the metals... even SWC on the Amex is up 6% today...it's too late now, but, if I had my druthers, I would've bought SUF instead of that POS SVN... I'm still too fixated on the techs I guess... Looking for that quick bounce is going to kill me one of these days... I just hope it isn't Monday. Regards, Peter

My first impression of the chart is that I'd have to know some fundamental reason to expect any sort of price spike from here. Of course, this is you Shaw, who seems particularly adept at picking stocks down in this range. <gg> Volume hasn't been spectacular but it has been consistently decent. That's always a good sign. Last news was that the test work on the Messina project was complete - Feb 20th - is that right? So that precarious looking Stochastic, running along in the overbought zone, has been up there since before the news release. MACD has been in an uptrend, north of the zero line (which is good), but seemed to be weakening or turning as shown by the weakening MACD histogram which is still positive but looked like it was headed for negative territory before Friday's unusual buying and 5 % price increase. Chaikin Money Flow supports a positive view of the MACD, over the potential sell signal of the Stochastic. Do you see anything technical in the chart that's likely to make you jump in? Or increase your position if you're in? Or get out? Cush
