James, Agree, the dood was a total and complete idiot (btw, this term "complete idiot" confuses me, but I do find it quite funny). You are very lucky. Its one thing to be lucky enough to hear them come in, and have the advantage of knowing the surroundings, its got to be a completely different thing to be surprised by one who has been hanging out in your place and hears YOU coming. Very lucky you were. I can relate to the back injury. I'm not giving up, but for me the prize is the ability to play golf. I am giving it one more year and then I'm going to submit to the knife. I just hear so many horror stories about back surgery that I'm concerned about that path. Its a last resort for me. I never really thought about a nuclear strike first. I guess I have always thought that the point was to get the people and the resources. The nukes make such a mess and spoil the spoils. China has always worried me. Any place that has 9-10 more men per 100 than women is going to be a real problem.
