Price target raised for ROYL...

Alex Montano of C.K.Cooper has raised the price target for Royale
Energy (ROYL) to $12.50.

He believes that ROYL will be able to get around $10.00 / mcf
for a long time.

Disclosure : I own a bunch of this for long term appreciation.

Question - Anyone know about Ivanhoe Energy ? Is that a California play ?

And as far as I know ROYL is still selling most of its NG production directly into the spot market in California:

"During the first quarter, the Company has contracted to sell its January gas for an average price of
$13.73 per MCF and has sold its February gas on a daily basis for prices ranging from $13 to $23 per MCF. In addition to
increased product price, the Company is experiencing an increased rate of re-investments in drilling projects, which should lead
to a record number of wells being drilled in 2001.''

The East Lost Hills Joint Venture seems to be getting a price on its gas from Chevron that is some kind of monthly quote that is based on the last five trading days of each month. My only holding there is PYR (I was in Berkely, but then Hunt and Anadarko began bidding for it and I took my profit). If some of these 20,000+ deep strata pay off the way some of the more enthusiastic converts to ELH hope, it will be terrifically profitable.
