Andreas- In the past 6 years I've had what I consider successful upgrades twice.

My criteria are a significant performance jump and a year of productivity using it without the slightest interest in looking at alternatives.

If I can find a "Blue Core" 750MHz TBird I think the A7M266 would be make it the third successful upgrade. If I can't find a 750 I'll just have to pay the going price for a 'C' TBird and let it go at that.

If we bought our automobiles like we buy our computers we'd be spending half our lives in showrooms talking to salesmen.

Harvey

P.S. Make that 2 1/2 successful upgrades so far. The Celeron 300a @ 450MHz was pretty good but only lasted half a year.

Andreas,

Any sign of PowerNow in the setup of any of the boards?

Joe

Andreas,

So far the A7M266 looks very impressive to me (both in terms of stability and performance)

I wonder why isn't Asus showing in their online showroom for CeBit: event.asus.com.tw
(They have it flashing on the bottom of the screen as the first DDR motherboard, but no details are shown.)
