Jim, WOW -- SIMPLIFICATION even if it steps on special interests toes. WOW -- I'd like SIMPLIFICATION even if it steps on MY toes! I spent almost 100 hours last year doing my own taxes! It's NUTS! I had to work over two weeks full time to tell the government I owed them almost 1/3 of what I make last year. GIMMIE a break! Everybody else I owe money to sends me a BILL! If I miss a $2.45 entry from an old Life insurance policy -- the government tells me about it! And I've got to sit down with entries from 10 banks, 5 insurance companies, and two brokerage houses to figure it out! Bullshit -- SEND ME A BILL if I don't like it I'll argue it, otherwise I'll pay it. tgptndr
