That's how the Pharisee thing applies to the war between Clinton and his enemies. Clinton's opponents are right to call him on his unethical actions. But their desire is not necessarily to see justice, but to destroy Clinton. His actions certainly stink to high heaven, but unless there was a law clearly broken, they should just issue a strong censure and move on.

Tenchusatsu,

If their motives are not pure, how can you be sure their accusations are correct; that his actions they fault were unethical?

My point has been that there is so much finger pointing and screaming going on, that its very hard to get to the facts.

Repeatedly, I have asked what exactly are Clinton's sins....what bad things has he done to give evidence of a weak ethos?

The typical answer is that I am being naive; that I need to read between the lines. Well, I have to say that's what the "Pharisees" do very well.....they read between the lines without restriction....building a case out of the air that exists between the lines.
