SI Admin(Jeff), I appreciate your comment to clarify the situation, but fail to understand any rationale you may have used to suspend LG. Some of the CFZ participants have less class than a dead fish, and their maturity often rivals that of children who failed to make the grade for progress to kindergarten. LG has his quirks, but his value to the members of the investment community, and to SI, is considerable. This does not excuse any of his poor actions, but does stress the need for you to apply a perceived even-handed approach to dealing with SI members. As I am sure you know ... sadly, SI is dying ... and the management should be doing all it can to maintain its remaining members interest. Instead of pushing people like LG away ... you should be looking to him and other valuable contributors as resources. Ever thought of dumping the names that cost you money and seeing what could be arranged with resources like LG ???. You could save costs and provide valuable information above and beyond the consistent bull or bear argument for which you actually pay. Most of us by necessity are traders rather than investors ... and thats the kind of information we need. As another aside, you should also minimally maintain a thread for each market sector and encourage posting as there are too many apparent voids in the threads that that now exist. Hello right backatcha, You seem to be implying that LG either misperceived the situation or may intentionally have attempted to spread misperceptions about it. I suppose some clarification of what you're actually trying to say would be in order. In any event, whether or not LG's account or at least his ability to post messages has been curtailed, and whether or not SI showed inconsistency in its policies and favoritism towards the CFZ people, the whole situation appears to have become untenable for him. If the explanation in the end is that the CFZ'ers freedom of speech (in carrying on some kind of campaign against LG and in otherwise persisting in an apparently vulgar discourse that LG found intolerable) was somehow treated as more important than LG's (in carrying on some kind of counter-campaign), then whether or not his account was officially terminated would be rather beside the point. Either both sides should be free to upset, disgust, and verbally assault each other, or both should be expected to conform to some identical terms of use. Of course, I have no idea what communications and disagreements may have been taking place "behind the scenes," and I haven't to this point found the whole matter interesting enough to be worth investigating. At this point I can only presume that some number of people have been wasting their time, energy, and emotion, and it seems that no one involved has come out looking the better for it.

Your post appears to be disingenuous. Your restrictions on LG's posting rights made him a second class citizen on SI and defenseless against his persecutors. So what is to prevent you from putting restrictions on any poster you choose, creating different classes of posters with different posting rights? SIAdminist. Jeff, I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to lease look into the possibility of developing a situation that will allow LG to come back to SI MDD thread. My personal plan would be to simply, forgive and forget, for all included. I would not rehash the past because that will only exacerbate bitterness. My preference is that LG be allowed/encouraged/invited back to restart a m o d e r a t e d thread, like it was before. LG did a pretty good job at guiding people to stay within the guidelines of the thread and was quite tolerant before deciding to excluded somebody. Personally I thought that that was OK because I, as well as others, at times have a tendency to pontificate and wander off the point. LG insisted that everything be supported by some link or evidence. I liked that and that was the main reason I stayed with MDD thread: rather than spouting opinions, there was an effort here to support your position with a link, or a chart . So that it was not just a chatter room; there are plenty of those in SI for those that want them. In regards to foul language, I suppose to be fair, and of course everybody in America wants to " be fair ", the rules should apply to all. We either allow for all, or exclude for all, foul language. I suppose since foul language is available freely and legally in all the media, it may not be possible to exclude it. In that case then, I would urge LG, as I have done once before, to just disregard other opinions. Because, IMHO, the only opinion that really counts is the opinion that one has of himself. To conclude , I urge SI not to allow SI to become another YAHOO thread which , in my opinion, is mostly a total waste of time because of all the spamming, unsupported opinion, carrying on, foul and offensive language ,name calling, which peppers the majority of the posts,with little effort to at least make a token effort to adhere to a semblance of reality and facts. thanx in advance, TA
