Ralph,

I am looking for the safety first and TGG invests in government debt. This instrument also fills my need for some foreign debt exposure without buying the debt directly. They can invest in high grade corporate debt or preferreds. GIM can invest up to 30% or 35%, I can not remember the % at the moment, in yield producing equities. For my portfolio I am not willing to take the risk. With the T-Bill yielding 4.7% and TGG at 8%, I think this is a heck of a deal. I have been accumulating TGG for 9 or so months.
