yep..the famous 'rhyming' of history...i have always held that an understanding of market and economic history is absolutely essential if one wants to be successful in today's markets. those that got steamrollered by the Nasdaq collapse were the very people who laughed at the historic bubble comparisons and doubted they were valid. they overlooked/dismissed the most important factor determining market direction - the one thing that has stayed constant throughout history - human nature.
