Scott, 3 months is a reasonable horizon for technicals and fundamenals to work. Game shouldn't rely on fixed number of shares however, portofolio should be constructed with a fix dollar amount. Also forget bullitin board issues as with some of the penny's the market isn't liquid enough for some of the positions represented in the contest to be realistic. Lastly get one of SI's guru authors to put a "pro portofolio" togeather with a dartboard portofolio with the object of "beating the pro" (similar to WSJ's darts and pro contest). BTW NASDAQ stocks (a favorite of SI'ers) down >22% in Feb biz.yahoo.com Best Regards, Mad2
