I also found the Jan 03 leaps to be a decent play.
I bought in-the-money $40s. When QCOM stock was $57, the leaps were $29. So my break-even is $69. I think that Q can make it to $69 within the 2-year time span.

The way that I looked at it was I could keep my $40 [exercise price] and for that I paid a premium of $12. I figure that come Jan '03, I will probably exercise the options.
