Lately NO i hold longer term. All the major indices are in decline, momentum indicators are negative

and I felt he was very "clear" in his answer to one question....that he didn't want to have his position of a possible inter meeting rate cut known. (Leading to the speculation that he may or may not have a rate cut before the next FOMC meeting.)

That is exactly what he said. He plans on having his move be a surprise no matter what it is.

This he did not say but I believe his reasoning for this is the greatest impact from a cut will come when it is a surprise. The market has little reaction when it is expected. Just what I believe he believes and I agree with that if that is what he believes. Was that confusing enough? <G>
