I thought you would find it interesting. Even if you have not experienced the direct influence, notions of anthropocentrism yielding to ahimsa, a reverence for all life; a strong critique of industrial civilization; a keen concern for what one might call global ecology; a reverence for things like coral reefs--- all suggested to me that you might find some resonance there......

The NYT has another article today updating the status of the faith-based initiative. Not much new but a little more detail.
