The P4 architects may have a different design philosophy than yours, their objectives may have been different, and the trade offs they had to make would make sense in that context. Their benchmarks measure what they want it to measure - which may not be dishonest. It is pretty much like the political discussions on this thread. Very intelligent and decent people could have diametrically opposing philosophies and good arguments could be made for each. But, political scoundrals will hide behind these philosophies and use it to further hidden agendas - which may not be so noble and enlightened. Mary
