I'm just happy that AMD has the 760 ready to ship, 2 slots or 4. It's gotten that desperate. The joke is that it will likely be Intel that ends up putting DDR in the maistream and not AMD.
Where do you see Rambus in 6-9 months? Seems DDR will carry only about a 5% premium to SDRAM and RDRAM will be much more...
I'll likely faint when I see an 760SMP motherboard.
Even then it will likely only be 2 way???
That hurts because for a large OEM to commit to the SMP Athlon platform it seems that they would want 4 way as well or why bother??
