That wasn't my point. In fact, using the GG model, there can't be 2 gorillas in one market sector.

For the last 2 years, the consensus on G&K was that network storage was divided into 2 sectors (nas and san), and ntap and emc were Kings of their sector. Now that there appears to be a convergence model developing, it remains to be seen if it will be Gorilla or Royalty in nature, and who will end up as the Gorilla or King. It will take several years to sort it out, but in the meantime, it's probable both emc and ntap will prosper due to the health of the sector.
