sunw has been volatile during period on that chart. here is hoping it will be volatile on the upside going forward

ken,i look at this chart cuz this is what most of us have been holding in our portfolio for last 5 yrs.

So any one who held combinatins of the above has done lot better a diversfied mutual funds. (so far).

The other thing i have been thinking is how to benefit from upside into market while risking some fix down side.

1. For every $1.00 I spend in 2003 leaps I should reserver $3 of cash. Thus limit a fix loss of 25% loss with serveral hundereads% of upside.

2. Index linked annuities. Where u r given X% participation in index w. miminium return of 3% /yr

I have found sp500 index linked annuities and I am looking
for naz index linked annuity.

just thnking outloud, i may participate in one or both of above combinations with part of my portfoilio.

there is a risk in the market but there is also a risk not being in the market
