Thanks for that BULLISH article! I know one thing the market does what the mass does not expect!! What If we are at the bottom, and the next quarter or two show improving conditions, what if the asia gives up on its own markets and throws the funds ( any left) in the US Markets, what if the likes of NT, ORCL, JDSU, CSCO, AND OTHERS are purposely letting the air out of their EXPECTATIONS so come late April they can blow the doors off on earnings?

We really are not in that bad of a scenerio, and the NASD needed the last YEAR to catch its breath. I am not calling for 5k but I do see us higher then 3100 come 1/01/02.

I think Bob Brinker BLEW IT!! He placed the bet on the QQQ in the 67 range in the hope we would rally in Nov- Dec. Mr Gore screwed Brinker and alot of other people!! This MOABO ( Mother of all buying opportunities) Is NOW!!!

Even I called for 1800 back in September but not this soon. I suspect the funds will take us back to 2800 fast enough so they get in right in time for the GOD NEWS to flow! Wall Street looks 6 months out so the window is now open, those that see this opportunity will never forget it. Like 94, like 98, like 87, like 91.

Good luck all I do see the light at the end of the tunnel and I will again state I believe TELE-COM will take us there as they slowly improve over the next 6 months. Once thelikes of WCOM, T, DT, Qwest will become the leaders once again. Optics will follow, and chips!

So! I will, as a Sunday morning browser and occasional lurker here pose some questions of this great
guru, who like many, have been screaming BUY, BUY,...all the way down from 5000...has he ever heard
of debt? Has he ever heard of low employment, excessive( according to some economists) liquidity leftover from
Y2K? Has he ever heard of reversion to the mean, The concept upon which Longterm capital Mgmt was based, and AG had to bail'em out, even that Nobel economist dude, referring to general rule of economics, recognized by some pretty smart economists, in face of all time high valuation of the dollar? I for one have been here before but then I'm an old fart...I was here to remember "the calls for the 'end of equities as we know them' " back in 1974-75.
I for one do not think we have seen the end of this bubble pop, but then what the hell, I am probably wrong and there
will in my lifetime, be buyers of vaporous companies with no earnings, AND GE is historically cheap now
Just check on its p.e and PEG, and let's just see what value there is on GE Capital Mgmt's loans outstanding.
I think it is now time to revisit Voltaire's "Candide"...like Dr Pangloss said, even after the Great Lisbon
earthquake,..."...this is the best of all possible worlds, this is the best of all possible worlds..."
Good luck to all, especially those who see NAZ 20,000 before long.
Jim Black
PS, BTW, last I heard, average Joe is ~>60 % bullish, last I heard

Re Wolanchuk's 5000 Nasdaq Forecast:
That's a courageous call. It'll either establish him as the top guru, or he'll spend the next 10 years trying to live it down!
