BINGO That is what politics is all about. That is what I have been trying to tell Ted. Money flows to power, not the other way around. Corporations, special interests, unions, etc use their money to buy access and influence over politicians. Politicians need money to get reelected. So, corporations and special interests use their money to buy access to politicians , so that the politicians will pass laws and taxes favorable to the corporations and special interests. This money forces politicians to pass laws in the interests of the people with money; which likely is not in the interest of their constituents. And that is the corrupt part.
