Don,

If we look at semi-log chart, the rate of decline does not
seem to be slowing down much at all even comparing the lows.

I agree we should be closer to the bottom than to the top,
but from here to 1063, it is still a 40% drop. And who knows
when it will recover. Do you have a prediction?
