You're welcome. The only reason I said it is, who in this market can predict any better than anyone else where any particular stock will be in a year, or any amount of time?

OK, my opinion: I think EMC has as good a chance of any, better than most, of meeting or beating expectations of them, because they are a very powerful leader in the tech infrastructure product area that probably gets affected the least in the slowdown. Big strong companies with definite segment leadership and lots of cash are the ones that should be left standing when this is all over. But, EMC's still not a low P/E stock, > 40X 12/01 earnings estimates.

Still, I'm thinking of buying more, again, because storage is still hot. What stops me is that tech sentiment probably remains crappy at least through this earnings warning season. Then again, if you wait too long with a stock like EMC, it could be back up by 50% before you know it. That's what I mean, it's hard as hell to confidently predict anything these days.
