What I have objected to all along, and have said here ad nauseum, is not Voltaire's bullishness per se, but his statements that his bullishness is divinely inspired, that his angels never let him get hurt, and by inference, that anyone who follows his angels will not get hurt. I believe this is wrong.

I'm no legal expert and have no clue as to whether there is an actionable case here. It was news to me that there might even be a case at all. I think it's important for everyone who has a presence in cyberspace, and extremely important in the case of those of us who lead threads, to be very careful with how we write about our own actions in the market, and to refrain from making specific recommendations to others.
