hjm, ariba was a fluff stock. a gazillion times sales when sales weren't growing too fast. if you invested in this stock, you relented to the greater fool theory and this is the risk that one takes playing that game. i missed a ton of upside by refusing to play the game. i'm missing the downside, too. to blame william for some obviously fluff pick (i laid the facts out on this dawg on this very thread when it was many time higher - $100-$110, i believe) is a little ridiculous. anybody who held amzn through the top clearly was more mad speculator than rational investor.
