Yup, there's different kinds of intelligence. There's such a thing as intelligent trailer trash, which is what we had last time. Now we have dimwit aristocracy. The trailer trash could pulverize the aristocrat on the SAT or an IQ test and can actually read and understand a law book. But the aristocrat indeed won't get blown in the oval office, or stuff White House silverware into his pockets on his way out, or pardon Marc Rich. Which would you rather have making a foreign or domestic policy decision that can affect the future of the human race in a major way? Maybe we just can't win. --QS
