Did Brocade really approach McData pre-IPO and was rebuffed? I recall a pre-IPO article in which Reyes indicated their interest in McData, but by then I already heard some rumors about their new ASIC so the merger didn't make sense especially at the rate Brocade was burning bridges to the rest of the industry.
